Got it!!!

my iPod shipped from China yesterday and got here today! I first loaded my iPod around 5:30PM with the first episode of "How I Met Your Mother," a new show on CBS. This was of course after hours of arduous transposing and decoding and encoding. It was well worth it and I have to say that I'm impressed. So far so good. I transferred about 2200 songs in about 20 minutes or so. I'm loving it! Thanks babe!

Better yet, after convincing my roommate that she needed an iPod and her many tries of saying no, she says that she'll actually have to buy one of these. We ended up watching like 5 minutes of the first episode and it was great to see the smile of belief!

This is an awesome tool to organize and attach those silly album art jpgs for you iPod photo fanatics! I'm trying to organize and go through my entire MP3 collection and so far, I'm just about one. It's a free piece of software and it works really well. You can't find everything, but its almost all there! Check it out!

a mess in the news

So now, the media has just finally just turned the madness into total chaos. No one knows but the "trusted" sites are stating that it might be just a new Macintosh Computing product. I hope not, but then again, Apple would be smart in not playing or dumbing down the current best seller of theirs, the iPod nano. Everytime I see one, I want it! But I guess I'm slowly getting over it. You might be saying that I'm crazy eh? I'm not, but I still want something that can totally do it all! So here I am...still waiting for next Wednesday.

is this it?

Straight from Engadget:

What do you guys think? Can this really be the video iPod? The click wheel looks good, but the screen and the orientation?! For those who don't know me, its going to be an excruciating next 7 days. And to think that the Press Conference is in PDT. That's another 3 hours that I technically have to wait. I WANT ONE!!!

*update* looks like someone could have photoshoped the nano. people are also commenting that the screen is taken from a boot up sequence from Microsoft Mobile OS or something. Oh well, I can't wait either way...

LASIK

Here's something I'm taking a look at. I'm just wondering how it would affect my FAA Medical. Click here. This of course is coupled with Wave SCan Technology that makes a 3D rendered image of your retina. What do you think?

to video or not to video iPod?

AppleInsider has posted news that next week might be the week that Apple releases their "video" iPod. It is suppose to perhaps utilize the new perpendicular plate technology from Toshiba which enables a slight shrinking of the current 60GB model by a few millimeter. Along with the fact that Apple began using their own click wheel technology instead of outsourcing, it is also suppose to sport a smaller wheel to enable a larger screen. Of course, this also means that it just might be my turn to buy one. I've been waiting for such a long time. Even through the nano how tempting it was, I still wanted to wait just a little while longer. We'll see...

Apple has sent this image to certain media people which pertains to the special event next week.
