Short and Sweet

I'm finding it a little "difficult" to get the camera out early in the morning and start sprinting. So today, I was able to capture the kids at a local park and followed by a short drive in picking up a craigslist bought car seat and a new cable modem. I'll talk about that tomorrow but ended the night on a nightcap of Tacobell 7-Layer goodness and some Bulleit Bourbon.

Day 9 Short and Sweet I'm finding it a little "difficult" to get the camera out early in the morning and start sprinting. So today, I was able to capture the kids at a local park and followed by a short drive in picking up a craigslist bought car seat and a new cable modem.

Slow and Surely

It's been one full week and today is Day 8!!! Happy one week anniversary! To celebrate, I actually wasn't late in getting up. Lunch at StreetCar Merchants with TJ then some Bird Rock Coffee for for a bag and complimentary cup. Playground time then dinner. Garage Works Brewing Company for a night cap. Goodnight!

Puddles, Poppies and Pie

Seven days straight!!! I seriously don't wake up "late" everyday but that seems to be the current trend.  I even set the alarm today for 7AM so that I could cook some oatmeal, grab some gatorade and take it easy. Thirty minutes later, I jump out of bed, put on my cycling gear, hoodies and shorts then run out the door.

The Bike ride was awesome which included a really fast downhill with an abrupt dead end followed by a puddle, a snake and some amazing poppies. Just as it was coming to an end, my right calf completely froze up solid. Not good. Got back to the start, drove home, showered, school for a conference, small errands, dance then pie!

Around 4:30, I also have the Rumpl unveiling! So warm, soft and awesome! Check them out! I'll have a review a little later down the road after we use it for camping at the end of the month.

Day 7 Puddles, Poppies and Pie I seriously don't wake up "late" everyday but that seems to be the current trend. I even set the alarm today for 7AM so that I could cook some oatmeal, grab some gatorade and take it easy.

Pancakes and Picnics

Once again, I woke up a little late as my son was tossing and turning all night. Yes, he still sleeps with me but it's awesome. But because I was late and pancakes were on demand, we arrived late for school. I hung around a bit, went to the bank then back home. Had to make some coffee, ate a bit, then all of a sudden, back to school for pickup. Nap, CCD, then a photoshoot for Rancho Penasquitos Banner Advertisement for the San Diego Fair (Del Mar Fair) followed by a small picnic.  Good times with amazing weather.

Day 6 A Little Slow and Tired Once again, woke up a little late as my son was tossing and turning all night. Yes, he still sleeps with me but it's awesome. But because I was late, I made some speed pancakes, then off to school, hung around a bit, bank then back home.

Switch and Scooters

Starting off the day in a hectic breeze, it ended on a beautiful note with family and friends. I'm getting the hang of it and am able to edit and publish in wicked speed which means, I'm going to have to start dedicating more time to cinematography. =) Thanks again for subscribing and following along!

Day 5 Switch and Scooters Springing forward, breakfast, church, brunch, coffee, Switch and Scooters then calling it a night.

Westjet Boeing 737 Executes a LOW Rejected Landing in St. Maarten

As most aviation followers know, the "almost crashes" is an over exaggeration in general, but I will admit that this Westjet 737 from Toronto did get pretty low. Most are attributing it to windshear but there is never a definitive story, in my mind, unless it's from either pilots at the helm. Till then, watch their perfectly executed missed approach.

Only a few feet missing and the Boeingjet from Toronto could have crashed into the water. A shocking moment for all of us at the sunset bar on Maho Beach, St. Maarten. The incident happened on 03/07/2017.

Still No Bearings

Definitely in need of some more guidance on where to go, what to film and what you as the audience wants to know. I guess I can easily spread that across many topics but maybe Saturday night will include some tech news. You tell me what you want to hear or so.

Day 3 Schools Gardening with my son (picture), meeting, lunch, pickup, playdate, nap, snack, talent show, dinner, end. Sorry about the happy editing. Still getting use to doing this and including this as part of the daily routine.

Finding My Bearings

This is a completely new routine and having my iPhone always near, and on and on landscape w/ video on... it's all new. Hope you enjoy "My Morning Routine."

Day 2 I uploaded at 23:40 (still made it before midnight) Most of the morning routine captured on video including my first bike ride in over three years. Joylani practicing before her talent show tomorrow evening. She's in Kindergarten and chose Alicia Keys.

My First VLOG

This is it! I've been wanting to do this since 2004, and I have no idea why it took this long. Let me advise you; this is the VERY first, rough cut and who knows what I'm going to do with it, but please endulge me. I'd love to keep this up and have conversations along the way. Cheers!

Day 1 of a very long road consisting of trials, failures, laziness. Rinse, repeat, stay on the bus. Shout out to Mr. John Saddington for the amazing 100+ days that he's been doing this. Hope to keep it up as well.

Once again, thanks to Mr. John Saddington for being the motivation to finally get around to do this. Follow him on his journey and his blog. And look, it's 23:30 and I was able to to push this out before midnight!
