Setting Up My Elgato HD60 S+ with OBS on my MacBook Pro

So, I finally received my shipment from Corsair for their Elgato HD60 S+ Capture Card along with their Key Light Air (but maybe I’m thinking I could have save 50% with this model) so I can… START STREAMING! Stay tuned to my twitch channel which I’m in the process of setting up for some Animal Crossing: New Horizons (digital/physical) goodness. Here a simple video on what I’m doing, but for an extended tutorial on my planned setup, I’m following iMore’s setup guide.

Watch Coachella Live Exclusively on YouTube Starting at 3:30pm Pacific!

For those (us) with kids...

Un-leashed by T-Mobile, music fans around the world can tune into Coachella’s YouTube channel on April 15-17 to catch performances of both emerging artists and the biggest acts on the lineup. The live stream will also be available on the YouTube Music app, and on any screen where you can watch YouTube.

Maybe I should setup the projector screen again and just stream a weekend long dance party at my house?! Check out Channel 1!

update #1: added direct link to "Channel 1"

MLB to Allow In-Market Streaming

But one smaller issue is being fixed for the 2016 season – MLB will allow fans to stream games in-market. The catches are that only Fox and MLB have reached an agreement (sorry, Comcast), and that you must have an authenticated login to stream the games (sorry, cord cutters).

And yes, the San Diego Padres are finally part of this deal thanks to Fox. Here's the hoping that the team actually gets better. Still disappointed about trading Kimbrel away but the prospects we got in exchange are promising1.

  • Promising that we'll build them up in our farm team then trade them away like every Major League Farm Team to either the Dodgers, Giants, Yankees or Red Sox. We love doing that.

  • Tune in live at 10 PDT to Apple's Fall Event

It's always exciting when Apple posts live streaming links and allow the underprivileged fans to watch the press event live! Starting today at 1300 EDT / 1000 PDT, you can watch it on your Apple TV, iDevice or via any other means of web streaming. Apple Oct 2013 Event

Live Streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

If you can't stream the video live, then you can always tune in to my two favorite live streams via The Verge or gdgt. I'll probably be tweeting my excite too. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on a MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display for over a year waiting for Haswell. Maybe I'll wait for Broadwell?
